MapForge v1.1.9 has been taken out of beta status and is now the new official release! It’s available on the Downloads page. If you had installed v1.1.9 when it was in beta, be sure to install the patch which turns it into the official release. It allows most Patreon-produced Add-Ons to create maps that can be published or used commercially.

Highlights include snap-to-grid for “flat-side-up” hexgrids, use scores of Add-Ons at once, significantly faster loading of Add-Ons, more accurate canvas sizing for non-square grid types, a warning indicator when you enlarge an asset so much that image quality will suffer, and much more.

MapForge v1.0.7 has been released. Despite the small increment in version number, it’s a major update for MapForge, adding not only Donjon support but basically an entirely new method of making maps, even for users who don’t have any/many content Add-Ons.

MapForge v1.0.6 has been taken out of beta status and is now the new official release. Note that it has a bug that causes the Variant thumbnails along the bottom to disappear if the window is over 2500 pixels across, so don’t use it in full-screen mode if you have a very high resolution display. Despite this bug, it is still worth making it the official release, since it fixes so many other issues.
